HOW NOT TO GET LAID

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) — Thousands of books and websites purport to tell you how to get lucky with the opposite sex, but a man in Los Angeles prefers to focus on something more important: How not to get laid.

That’s the mission of Stewart Fox, who runs HowNotToGetLaid.com, a website that posts pitiful-but-true examples of what NOT to do for love.

For instance, there’s the guy who burned his crotch right before he was going to lose his virginity, and the fellow who showed up on his girlfriend’s doorstep naked except for a strategically placed box of chocolates. That technique might have worked, except the gal’s brothers were over for a visit.

Fox, who claims he was an unintentional virgin until after college, started the website in December after hearing a lady friend talk about another man’s ill-fated attempts to seduce her.

Says Fox: “I thought, `Wow, that’s exactly how not to get laid.”‘

Since then, he’s been slammed with submissions, but he’s not surprised.

As he puts it, “Whole movie franchises have been built on the failed pursuit of sex.”
